If you are going to model yourself on UFC Legend Conor McGregor then you better be able to deliver the goods and Maurice Adorf duly did just that at a German MMA Championship event in Hamburg on Saturday night.
Adorf has been likened to a 'McGregor Clone' by viewers on social media and it is not hard to see why.
From the tattoo placements, to the cock-sure strut, the entrance to the cage and his mannerisms during the fight, this was a German McGregor in all but name. It is clear who Adorf's hero is and the extent to which he attempts to copy the former UFC two-division champion is remarkable.
Adorf duly started his fight against Serbian Ridvan Nuka by bouncing around the ring and posturing in a manner that McGregor would be proud of.
It wasn't all for show though as Adorf proved that he does have some skill as well as he duly defeated Nuka with a technical knockout victory and he extended his short career record to an unbeaten 2-0.
Adorf was clearly loving the attention as he posed for pictures afterwards and we await to see if the original 'Notorious' has seen his German 'double' in action yet.
Adorf won the second fight of his career courtesy of a TKO after just one minute and six seconds of the fight - you can see him in action by clicking the 'play' icon in the Twitter video at the end of this article.
The German lightweight previously defeated Harun Gueler in his first professional fight at GMC 17 in Germany in October.
