On September 8, 1981, the first Only Fools and Horses episode ‘Big Brother’ was shown to British TV audiences. Close to four decades later, the sitcom focusing on the adventures and misdemeanours of the Trotter brothers is still very much-loved.
Families still congregate around the TV to see that chandelier crash again, the fall through the bar, that singer with a speech impediment, and Del Boy and Rodney (played to perfection by Sir David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst) being blighted by some dangerous blow-up dolls.
To mark the birthday of the show which John Sullivan wrote more than 40 years ago, and as a fellow British institution, The Sportsman has devised this deviously devilishly difficult quiz about Only Fools and Horses, with, of course, a sports-oriented twist.
So are you the 42-carat plonker or the creme de menthe of your Only Fools and Horses-loving mates?

Bonjour.
