FIFA 19 is back for another season and as the game creeps closer gamers are eyeing up which teams to use in the brand new campaign. The Champions League is back on FIFA this season and of course the aim in career mode is to challenge for that prestigious trophy and win the league title in your respective league. Below we go through the five best teams to use on FIFA 19 career mode.
5 - Atlanta United
One of the best stadiums in world football belongs to MLS side Atlanta UNited. Te Mercedes-Benz stadium is in the game this year and is sure to be a sight to behold for FIFA fans. Although the MLS may not be the most appealing to normal gamers, Atlanta do have a whole host of young players to try out and of course, their spectacular stadium. One of the shorter career modes to try out perhaps.
4 - Guangzhou Evergrande
The Chinese Super League is the biggest division to be added to the game this year and there are some big players and big finances now available in Asia. Paulinho and Talisca are two Brazilians who are available in the Guangzhou Evergrande squad and with almost £50m to play with at the start of the game you should not be short of cash for squad improvements.
3 - Sunderland
One of the big draws for the FIFA career mode player is the ability to be able to turn around a sinking ship. Sunderland are exactly that and with the Stadium of Light on the game it is a great challenge to be able to take the club from League One to the Champions League.
With a healthy budget in League One, it shouldn’t be too difficult to get them promoted first time around, but where can you take them from there?

2 - Macclesfield Town
One of the smallest teams in the game were promoted back into the Football League last season and of course that means they are on FIFA! This is the biggest challenge of the lot but then again who doesn’t love a tough test that will be exciting over a few seasons. Macc Town have one of the smallest budgets on the game making te challenge of getting them up through the league is even more difficult, especially on the new ‘Ultimate’ difficulty.
1 - Sporting CP
One of the most remarkable stories of the summer leads us to Portugal with Sporting. An incident at the training ground, where the ultras of the club attacked the players caused several top earners and star players to cancel their contracts and leave for pastures new. Rui Patricio left for Wolves whilst Bryan Ruiz, Gelson Martins and Daniel Podence also all left as well as several others.
This leaves FIFA players with a rare opportunity. It is very rare you almost get to start from scratch with a Champions League side and attempt to win Europe’s best competition. See Sporting as a blank canvas, for you to paint your perfect side onto.
