Mainz Goalkeeper Robin Zentner With Possibly The Worst Error Ever

There's been a host of goalkeeping stinkers over the years, but this one possibly beats the lot!

In the first-half of the Bundesliga clash between Borussia Monchengladbach and Mainz, the visiting keeper Robin Zentner receives a standard back-pass.

Zentner calmly takes a touch with his right boot and, thinking he's still in possession of the ball, then strides forwards and attempts to pass to a nearby defender.

Oh wait.

He then hilariously fails to realise that the ball had in fact dribbled behind him, and to his utter shock the opposing striker Lars Stindl storms in in pursuit of an easy goal.

However, the keeper just about manages to scramble back and prevent the hosts from scoring.

Phew, what a relief...
