Patrice Evra has never been one to shy away from media attention and the West Ham United defender signed off from his stint as a World Cup pundit with ITV in some style on Saturday night.
Evra has appeared to enjoy his time on the couch with Mark Pougatch and co., although he did attract some criticism on social media for applauding fellow pundit and former footballer, Eni Aluko, in 'patronising' fashion after she had given her insight on the Costa Rican team.
The 37-year-old was on the ITV couch for the final time during this summer's World Cup on Saturday evening as he sat alongside Gary Neville, Roy Keane and Henrik Larsson. Evra finished his spell in the studio with a remarkable speech.
Evra began by thanking ITV and his former Manchester teammates - "apart from Gaz, and Roy, I will miss you a lot".
"I'd just like to say, I love this game!" he gushed in his own personable style. "I love this game" has become something of a catchphrase of Evra, who has built up a huge Instagram following thanks to a host of weird and wonderful updates from his account.
Evra then launched into a speech directed at the camera as he said that he knew lots of people would be waiting for his catchphrase, before complaining about the cold and a penguin running around in the background.
It is 'Peak Evra' as he provided a wonderfully light-hearted aside before saying, "sorry for the guys, sometimes I forget we are on TV". Watch Evra's performance in full below:
