Manchester United and England star Jesse Lingard has been talking about how the club has been transformed since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho as manager.
Last night's FA Cup win over Arsenal was United's eighth on the bounce in all competitions and Lingard is one of the players who looks to have benefited most from the arrival of the Norwegian as the club's interim manager.
Interviewed on Soccer AM today, Lingard revealed what had changed at Old Trafford in the past six weeks.
"Ole's been great since he came in," he said. "He's given us a lot of advice and he's let us play free which is the main thing.
"You want to play with freedom and you want to play with a smile on your face and Ole's let us do that."
Asked what the biggest change was at the club since Solskjaer arrived, Lingard said: "It's just playing attacking football. Playing the ball forward as soon as you can and scoring as many goals as you can.
"If they score one, Ole knows that we're going to score two and he's always had that mindset. We are always confident going into matches - our mindset has definitely changed going into big games. I'm enjoying my football - it's good vibes at the moment."
Solskjaer gave Lingard his debut in United's reserves and one of the first things the interim manager said to him still resonates. "This is Man United and this is how we should be," said Lingard. "We wear suits for away games now to look the part. He wanted to bring back the United way."
