It sounds silly to say given the technical ability required to succeed at the highest level, but having a good kit can set the tempo for the rest of the season. This retro kit succeeds in commemorating the Reds’ 125th anniversary year, and also reverts back to the darker Shankly red of years gone by. By all accounts, New Balance have pulled this out of the bag and then some.
