After an exciting second round of FA Cup drama, all eyes turn to the eagerly anticipated third round draw as Premier League and Championship teams enter the competition.
National League side Boreham Wood beat Bristol Rovers 2-0 to inflict the only major shock on Sunday afternoon, with Ipswich, Burton, Fleetwood and Derby all avoiding an upset.
Forest Green, who were the focus of The Sportsman’s FA Cup Road to Wembley feature last week, beat Alvechurch 2-1 on Saturday and will be joined in the next round by the likes of Wrexham, Sheffield Wednesday, Portsmouth, Accrington and Barnsley who all also won.
