The Europa League is reaching its final stages as we look forward to the second leg of the quarter-finals, with just eight teams remaining. Manchester United look in great shape to qualify, but how are the other ties lining up?
Here is what we have to look forward to this week...
Manchester United v Granada
Where: Old Trafford, Manchester
When: Thursday April 15
Kick-Off time: 8pm
First leg score: 2-0
TV: BT Sport
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United are well on track to finish in the top four of the Premier League and secure Champions League football next term but they are also looking to win the Europa League, as they did in 2017.
Goals from Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes have got United halfway towards the semi-final and it would take something disastrous for them not to make the final four. We can expect a couple of changes from United against Granada, who are having their most successful European campaign ever and are now 8th in La Liga.
Sportsman Stat: United have won the first leg of a European away tie for the 22nd time, and they have progressed on all of the 21 other occasions.
Betfred Odds: Manchester United are 11/10 favourites to win the Europa League.
Slavia Prague v Arsenal
Where: Eden Arena, Prague
When: Thursday April 15
Kick-Off time: 8pm
First leg score: 1-1
TV: BT Sport
Arsenal are ten points off the top four in the Premier League and so winning the Europa League is by far their best opportunity of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
Having kept a clean sheet at Sheffield United over the weekend, Mikel Arteta will be hoping his team can earn another shutout while scoring a crucial away goal. It has been a faltering campaign but the Gunners have enough quality to progress.
Sportsman Stat: Arsenal are without a clean sheet in their last seven games in Europe.
Betfred Odds: The Gunners are 15/8 to reach the Europa League semi-finals.
Roma v Ajax
Where: Stadio Olimpico, Rome
When: Thursday April 15
Kick-Off time: 8pm
First leg score: 2-1
TV: BT Sport
While Roma are one of the most iconic names in European football, a Europa League triumph would be massive for a club who have only previously won the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup 60 years ago.
Ajax, meanwhile, have been more successful on the continent but trail in this one. However, they could win a historic double, as the Dutch giants are currently eleven points clear in the Eredvisie with six games to go.
Sportsman Stat: Roma host Ajax for the first time since the two sides met in the Champions League in March 2003.
Betfred Odds: Ajax are 11/8 to win the second leg.
Villarreal v Dinamo Zagreb
Where: Estadio de la Ceramica, Villarreal
When: Thursday April 15
Kick-Off time: 8pm
First leg score: 1-0
TV: BT Sport
Unai Emery may have struggled with Arsenal but Villarreal are in a safe pair of hands with a manager who has already won this competition three times with Sevilla.
Dinamo Zagreb will be confident of getting better of the Yellow Submarine though, after already overcoming a first leg deficit to knock out Tottenham.
Sportsman Stat: Dinamo Zagreb have lost their last six matches against Spanish opposition though the last victory came against Villarreal in September 2010.
Betfred Odds: Villarreal are 9/2 to win the Europa League this season.
