Eden Hazard Chelsea’s difference maker again

When his side are not playing well you know you can count on Eden Hazard to stand up and be counted. Chelsea were knocking on the door before Eden Hazard gave them the lead, capitalising on a mistake by Simon Francis. He beat Asmir Begovic at his near post but when Chelsea need him, their talisman steps up.

Chelsea may yet regret letting Nathan Ake leave

The former Chelsea youngster was vital in keeping the visitors from adding to their lead. The long hair centre-half made blocks a plenty and was the only Bournemouth defender able to keep tabs on Eden Hazard. At just 22 years of age the defender still has plenty of time to improve the weaker aspects of his game and has the potential to be world class.

Chelsea keep up pressure on top three

Another away game, another three points. Chelsea seem to have found a way to win these sort of games and Antonio Conte will be delighted with the way his side responded to their shock defeat to Crystal Palace which was their last away game. Michy Batshuayi keeps scoring goals and knocking on the door for a first-team place.

Callum Wilson return positive for Bournemouth

He may have only come on with 20 minutes to go but Callum Wilson being on the pitch for Bournemouth improves them. His long-awaited return from his second ACL injury was met with huge cheers from the Bournemouth crowd and you can see why. The Cherries have struggled for goals all season and Jermain Defoe and Benik Afobe just haven’t stepped up in Wilson’s absence. The forwards return to fitness should mark an improvement in form for Bournemouth.
