The Premier League returns this weekend so that means the schedule is stacked with football. From the top flight to the EFL and the Women’s World Cup, there is so much on offer when it comes to putting together an accumulator. We’ve put together this tidy four-fold which we feel offers great value for the weekend ahead.
Bournemouth to beat West Ham - 7/4
The Premier League returns and the Cherries can get off to a winning start. They have enjoyed a positive summer, with Justin Kluivert, Romain Favre, Milos Kerkez and Hamed Traore all joining the club. This will also be the first match for new boss Andoni Iraola, who is expected to take the club up the table this term. Combine this with West Ham’s loss of Declan Rice and the fact that any replacements may not be quite up to speed, and it feels like there’s value in the home win. David Moyes could be under pressure from the off with a loss on the south coast.
Cardiff City to beat Queens Park Rangers - 19/20
Cardiff City recorded an impressive point in their previous fixture at Leeds United. Of course, they were 2-0 up and conceded a 95th-minute equaliser but there were plenty of positives for the Bluebirds to take from that result ahead of hosting relegation favourites Queens Park Rangers this weekend. The Rs lost 4-0 to Watford last time out and could find that Cardiff new-boys Josh Bowler and Ike Ugbo are ready to add to goals last weekend to give Gareth Ainsworth's Hoops more than a few problems.
Bolton Wanderers to beat Cheltenham Town and Over 1.5 goals - 13/8
Almost every man and his dog feels that this is the year Bolton Wanderers will make their return to the Championship after four years away. Ian Evatt’s side were impressive last term as they made it to the play-offs and there is a strong feeling that automatic promotion beckons for the Trotters this year. They got off to a strong start with a 3-0 win over Lincoln City last time out and next up is Cheltenham Town, who appear to be one of the weakest sides in the division. The loss of star striker Alfie May has been telling so far for the Robins.
England to beat Colombia 1-0 in Women's World Cup quarter-final - 7/2
The Lionesses probably can't be any less convincing than they were in their fortunate Round of 16 penalty win over Nigeria, but that is not to say they are set to swat aside all-comers from this point forward. Aside from one Lauren James-inspired performance against China, Sarina Wiegman's side have found goals difficult to come by, and with the Chelsea star suspended they might find themselves living dangerously again in this one.
Odds: 62.34/1 - £10 returns £633.44 with Betfred
